I’ve never talked to anyone before, how does this process work.
Every person will have different issues that need to be talked about, so I will tailor my approach depending on the situation you are dealing with.
I don’t feel comfortable talking in person, is there another way?
These sessions will be through telehealth, so whenever a session is scheduled you can select an area where you feel comfortable whether it be your home or a quiet place you like to go to.
How long will it take?
There is no timetable on how long it will take to heal your wounds, but what I can say is that we will make progress through every session but it is also up to you to use what we have talked about for your daily life to get on the road to a progressive healing state.
How is talking to you any different from talking to my friends?
While you might be comfortable talking to your friends, sometimes they are not always honest with you and will tell you what you want to hear. I have been in this field for a long time and will lead you in the right direction as well as tell you things you may not want to hear but will help you deal with your situation.
Why shouldn’t I take medication?
Medication may help with some of your issues, but will only suppress them for a short while. We want to get to the root of your problem and heal it in a natural way. Healing your mind and body in a natural way will help us unpack your problems and take them head-on.
Are you my only resource?
During our sessions, I may recommend a few reading materials for you to look at that may help you through our sessions. But actively participating is the best way to really get the most out of our sessions.
